Spectre looms over Dawn and Wraith
Fancied a luxurious Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible or even a sleek Wraith two door coupe?
Well, sadly, you are too late as Goodwood home to Rolls-Royce has just revealed that production is to end in 2023 and, worse for those folk with spare cash to order one right away, the order books have been firmly slammed shut.
All this palaver is due to the fact that the all-new Spectre EV is being readied for production. Insiders say that they could have very easily converted one of these models to all-electric power but Rolls-Royce felt that they would not have been special enough and so wanted an all-new model to signal the step-change that the company was making.
In other news, CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos has stated that car models headed for Russia will now be diverted to other markets. And in further glad tidings the factory in western Ukraine making wiring looms has already restarted production.
