Bentley is claiming a world first in offering three dimensional decorative wood panels in its new flagship Flying Spur saloon.
Available in diamond patterned American Cherry or Walnut the special finish is only offered on the rear doors of the prestigious Mulliner versions of the brand new range-topping model. Maybe the 3D effect is just too sensational and distracting for the driver to see?
Bentley’s Head of Interior Design for the Flying Spur, Brett Boydell, said:
“Three-Dimensional Wood is the next interior design element we’ve taken from concept car idea to production reality. It works in perfect harmony with the three-dimensional leather quilting across the cabin of the Flying Spur and creates an even more special environment for those being driven.”
