Bentley V8 passes into history
It is with great sadness that after 60 years of service, the staple 6.7-litre V8 engine enjoyed by so many, now passes into history while notching-up a record as the longest continuous production V8 engine ever. That this engine was still largely hand-assembled and crafted probably makes this decision inevitable.
With the 30th and last engine installed into a special limited edition Mulsanne model, the Flying Spur replaces that model and becomes the flagship of the Bentley marque.
